Mike Atkinson, CEO T3



After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, Mike served at SEAL Team EIGHT in the first Gulf War. He then left active duty and continued his service in the Naval Reserve. While earning an MBA from Columbia University, Mike embarked on a notable financial services career. His experience included positions at Salomon Brothers, and a family office that ran what was left of the Vanderbilt fortune. After business school, Mike in 1994 joined a very successful multi-billion dollar hedge fund/growth equity manager in San Diego, CA. He then cofounded Palmer Square Partners, a multi-sector equity asset management business in Princeton, New Jersey that he managed for the next 14 years.  Throughout this time, Mike maintained close contact to the SEAL community. Seeing an opportunity to use his experience to address issues facing the SEAL Teams, Mike returned to San Diego in 2008 and formed T3.

Shane Reilly, President T3 Military



Shane retired from the SEAL Teams in June 2010 after a successful and highly decorated 21-year career (Bronze Star, Joint Commendation, and Navy Commendation Medals, all with Valor devices), including time in the Iraq conflict during some of our nation's most trying months. He was commissioned in the highly selective Seaman to Admiral Program, where only a few exceptional sailors are selected for scholarship and commissioning. His job just prior to retirement was the Executive Officer (number two man) at the Basic Training Command (BTC) at the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Center. BTC is responsible for the most sacred duties in maintaining the exacting standards of the famous Basic Underwater Demolition/ SEAL, (BUD/S) training. Shane's first duty station in the Teams was at SEAL Team EIGHT in the early 1990s, where he and Mike first met. Among his numerous military qualifications, Shane was a Navy SEAL sniper.


Trevor Maroshek, Vice President T3 Manufacturing



After joining the military because of 9/11, Trevor left the active duty SEAL Teams in October 2011. During his operational career, he deployed with SEAL Teams ONE, FIVE and SEVEN along with Group One and Support Activity One. Trevor worked in a range of specialized capacities such as sniper, tactical surveillance operator, pointman, breacher and lead climber. Additionally, he accomplished four combat tours in Iraq, Afghanistan and Southeast Asia.  His final assignment with the Teams was creating a new canine effort for Naval Special Warfare. As a K-9 Handler/Master Trainer, Trevor developed a model program with his four-legged partner, Chopper.

Prior to joining the Teams, Trevor was a professional surfer.


Lawrence Bengal, Director T3 Sales



After graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1998 with a degree in Systems Engineering, Lawrence served as an Apache pilot and a Reconnaissance Pilot supporting U.S. Special Operations Command in Iraq and Afghanistan.  He also commanded a premier reconnaissance operational unit conducting counter-narcotic and anti-guerilla operations in Central and South America.  His last assignment was as a contractor conducting military flight operations overseas.  Currently, Lawrence is a member of the Air National Guard flying  MQ-1 Predator.   He was awarded two Bronze Stars and a Meritorious Service Medal.




Chopper, T3 Mascot



Chopper is a pure-breed German shepherd, recruited as the one of the first Multi Purpose Canine (MPC) SEAL Tactical Dogs. A former champion spot dog, Chopper has completed multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He demonstrated extraordinary bravery in combat, having neutralized several Taliban fighters and saved many lives with his actions down range. He has also located hundreds of IEDs and large caches of enemy weapons and explosives. Notwithstanding his warrior spirit, Chopper has a huge heart and loves to play. Recently retired, he spends his days relaxing at the Coronado offices of T3 in Southern California. Stop by any time for a visit.
